AFK Sistema bought a 75% stake in Crystal Fish LLC and a 10% stake in Khangar LLC, specializing in the extraction and processing of red fish, the company plans to form a large fishing holding in Kamchatka. This was reported to Interfax by the official representative of AFK Sistema Sergey Kopytov.
The buyer was the structure of AFK „Sistema” – LLC UK „Kamchatka project”, follows from the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Shares in Kristall Fish LLC and Khangar LLC were purchased from individuals, Kopytov said. The amount of the transaction is not specified.
According to Kopytov, both companies are located on the western coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula, in close proximity to the assets of Zarya LLC, acquired by AFK Sistema in 2021.
„On the basis of Crystal Fish LLC, Khangar LLC and Zarya LLC, a large integrated fishing holding Voskhod will be formed with its own production, processing, storage and trading and a total catch of 27-35 thousand tons per year” – said Kopytov.
According to him, „Crystal Fish” uses 4 fishing sites, the company owns 4 fishing vessels. Khangar’s assets include 4 fishing grounds, 5 vessels, as well as a new processing plant with a capacity of 180 tons per day, which will be launched as early as 2022.
In the future, AFK Sistema plans to increase its stake in Khangar above the control.
In Zarya LLC, AFK Sistema owns 90%, for which it paid 6.2 billion rubles. Last summer, commenting on the entry into the capital of Zarya, Sistema said that the company is a major player in the Russian red fish market with a catch of more than 20 thousand tons per year. Zarya has a share of about 10% in the salmon market of Kamchatka and a share of 5% in Russia. According to the SPARK-Interfax analytical system, Zorya’s revenue in 2021 amounted to 4.43 billion rubles, net profit – 1.92 billion rubles.
Khangar LLC was registered in March 2013. According to SPARK-Interfax , the company’s revenue in 2021 amounted to 348.45 million rubles, net profit – 60.05 million rubles.
Crystal Fish LLC was established in December 2012. The company’s revenue in 2021 amounted to 591.79 million rubles, with a profit of 341.28 million rubles.
